The Land of Yrx was David Gate and Robert Andrews with numerous guest musicians.
Banging Things Loudly and Rhythmically was a recording from January 1985 that never made it to any release of any kind. We figured that as 2022 is the 40th anniversary of the birth of The Land of Yrx we would make this track available as a free download.
The electronics on this track became the basis of our 1985 live performance in Sheffield at UK Electronica.
Buyers of the "album" will get two bonus tracks featuring performances by Mike Beck, Steve Collins, Andrew Pinches and Martyn Smith.
