David and I were discussing our early cassette albums in the summer of 2021 and we realised that we made 60-minute cassette albums because we had no access to the C46 format (I think we were unaware of it). In fact it was late in 1982 when we started to issue albums around the 40-45-minute mark.
This collection, however, was our first attempt at an overview as the Aerie band had been wound up in February 1982 and an incomplete booklet shows what we were planning to include on a 2xC90 collection. Some sense prevailed and the original version of this album was reduced to a single C90 focussing on later material. On this version the closing (30-minute) track has been omitted.

Purchasers of the complete album will receive the bonus track Inter Retinal Disorder (first part). Taken from the album "In Nominis Patris et Filli et Spiritu Sancti, Ego Te Dissolvo" (BASL 3), this is the one section of that album that I feel is worth preserving. The rest of that album is insubstantial and at best, silly.
